Buta is a town and seat of Buta Territory in the northern Democratic Republic of the Congo, lying on the Rubi River, a tributary of the Itimbiri River. It is headquarters of the Bas-Uele District, Orientale Province. As of 2009 it had an estimated population of 50,130.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Congo (Dem.
